CITIC FAMC boosts stake in China Everbright Bank to 9%

CITIC Financial Asset Management Co., Ltd. (CITIC FAMC) has increased its shareholding in China Everbright Bank Company Limited. Between July 24, 2025, and November 27, 2025, CITIC FAMC acquired an additional 275,000,700 A shares and 315,285,000 H shares.

This raises its total stake by 1.00% of the company’s total share capital, elevating CITIC FAMC's shareholding from 8.00% to 9.00%. The transactions were executed through centralized bidding, utilizing self-owned funds. This change in equity does not trigger a tender offer nor does it alter the controlling shareholder or de facto controller of China Everbright Bank.

As of November 27, 2025, CITIC FAMC's total shares in China Everbright Bank amount to 5,317,699,688, up from 4,727,413,988 shares prior to the change. The company confirmed this adjustment adheres to relevant laws and regulations and does not necessitate the disclosure of additional acquisition reports.
