China Merchants Securities non-executive director Liu Hui to retire

China Merchants Securities Co. Ltd. announced that Liu Hui has resigned from her positions as a non-executive director, a member of the Strategy and Sustainability Committee, chairperson of the Risk Management Committee, and a member of the Remuneration and Appraisal Committee of the Board. Her resignation, effective November 21, 2025, is due to retirement.

Ms. Liu confirmed no disagreements with the Board and no other matters relating to her resignation require shareholder or creditor attention. The company's board expressed sincere gratitude for her significant contributions during her tenure.

The company will initiate procedures to elect a new director promptly, as Ms. Liu's departure will not cause the number of board members to fall below the statutory minimum or impact normal operations. As of the announcement date, China Merchants Securities Co. Ltd. executive directors include Huo Da (chairman) and Zhu Jiangtao, alongside several non-executive and independent non-executive directors.
