China Energy Engineering names Ni Zhen as new chairman

China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited has announced the appointment of Ni Zhen as the new chairman of its board of directors, effective from November 21, 2025. Ni, currently the secretary of the party committee and chairman of China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd., previously served as deputy chairman of the board and an executive director. His term of office as chairman will run until the expiry of the third session of the board. Concurrently, Ni Zhen will cease to serve as the general manager of the company.

The board also announced changes to the Strategy Committee. Ni Zhen will serve as chairman of the committee, with Cheng Niangao and Si Xinbo as members. These appointments are effective from the date of board approval until the expiry of the third session of the board.

Additionally, Ni Zhen has been appointed as an authorized representative of the company, with his appointment taking effect from November 21, 2025. He is a professorate senior engineer, born in July 1971, and holds a doctor's degree in engineering.
