Kuaishou reports strong Q3 2025 growth, record DAUs

Kuaishou Technology announced a 14.2% year-over-year increase in total revenues, reaching 35.6 bn yuan for the third quarter of 2025. This growth was primarily fueled by its online marketing services, live streaming, e-commerce, and Kling AI businesses. Gross profit rose 14.9% to 19.4 bn yuan, with the gross profit margin improving to 54.7%. Operating profit surged by 69.9% year-over-year to 5.3 bn yuan, representing an operating margin of 14.9%.

Profit for the period reached 4.5 bn yuan, a 37.3% increase from the prior year. Adjusted net profit for the quarter grew 26.3% to 5.0 bn yuan, and Adjusted EBITDA increased by 37.2% to 7.7 bn yuan. For the nine months ended September 30, 2025, revenues totaled 103.2 bn yuan, with an operating profit of 14.8 bn yuan and a profit for the period of 13.4 bn yuan.

Average daily active users (DAUs) on the Kuaishou App reached a record 416.2m in Q3 2025, marking the third consecutive quarter of record highs. Total e-commerce GMV grew 15.2% year-over-year to 385.0 bn yuan, with online marketing services revenue increasing 14.0% to 20.1 bn yuan. The company’s AI strategy, particularly Kling AI, generated over 300.0m yuan in revenue during the third quarter.
