Moon Inc. boosts Asia investment, entering South Korea.

Moon Inc. (stock code: 1723) has announced a further subscription in the fund, Asia Strategy Partners LLC, amounting to $1,754,667.22. This further subscription builds on a previous investment of $1.2 million, bringing Moon Inc.'s total interest in the fund to approximately 7.20%. The company is leveraging its digital asset expertise and expanding into selected Asian markets. The fund’s investment in Bitplanet Inc., an integrated security software and IT solutions provider, serves as a strategic entry point into South Korea.

The further subscription is categorized as a connected transaction because the manager, Sora Ventures, is a connected person of Moon Inc. The transaction, when aggregated with the previous investment, exceeds 0.1% but is less than 5% of applicable percentage ratios. Consequently, it is subject to reporting and announcement requirements but exempt from circular and independent shareholders’ approval under Listing Rule 14A.76(2).

The investment is financed through Moon Inc.’s internal resources, utilizing approximately HK$13,686,000 from the net proceeds of HK$64.19 million raised from new shares and convertible notes issued on October 22, 2025. This move is expected to foster collaboration, enhance operational synergies, and integrate Bitplanet’s technology capabilities with Moon Inc.'s business expansion plans. The closing of the further subscription is anticipated on November 18, 2025.
