China Southern Airlines sees strong operating growth in October 2025

In October 2025, China Southern Airlines' passenger capacity (ASK) rose 7.53% year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international routes seeing increases of 4.94%, 8.54%, and 15.29% respectively. Passenger traffic (RPK) climbed 8.83% year-on-year, driven by rises of 6.78% in domestic, 8.48% in regional, and 15.21% in international traffic. The overall passenger load factor improved by 1.05 percentage points to 87.89%.

Cargo operations also showed positive momentum, with cargo capacity (ATK - Cargo and Mail) growing by 6.75% and cargo and mail traffic (RTK - Cargo and Mail) increasing by 8.06% year-on-year. The cargo and mail load factor for October 2025 stood at 52.48%, marking a 0.64 percentage point increase from the previous year.

The Group's fleet expanded with the introduction of four new aircraft, including two A320NEO aircraft, one B737-8, and one C919, while one A319 aircraft was disposed of. As of the end of October 2025, China Southern Airlines operated a total fleet of 959 commercial aircraft.
