Wah Sun Handbags forecasts significant profit growth

Wah Sun Handbags International Holdings Limited expects to report a net profit attributable to owners of not less than HK$40 million for the six months ended September 30, 2025. This marks a significant increase compared to the approximately HK$27 million recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.

The projected profit surge is primarily driven by an estimated 23% revenue growth, reaching approximately HK$432 million from HK$352 million in the previous period. This increase is attributed to ongoing orders from new customers, particularly from the Netherlands and Canada, and improved gross profit margins due to higher sales volume and stringent cost control measures.

However, the positive impact was partially offset by increased administrative expenses due to a larger supporting staff, higher sales and distribution expenses mainly from increased transportation costs, and a rise in income tax expenses resulting from the anticipated increase in assessable profit. The company advises caution as these are preliminary unaudited figures.
