Qinhuangdao Port updates on litigations, RMB560m case appealed

Qinhuangdao Port Co., Ltd. announced recent developments in its ongoing litigations, including an appeal lodged by Jiangxi Copper. The case, involving approximately RMB559.7743 million, has been accepted for a second trial by the Tianjin High People's Court. Qinhuangdao Port is named as one of the appellees. The company stated that the ultimate impact on its profits remains uncertain due to the pending second trial ruling.

Additionally, the company provided updates on several other cases. Three cases involving the company as plaintiff—two against Qinhuangdao Huizheng Trading Co., Ltd. and Qinhuangdao Xuanbang Trading Co., Ltd. concerning storage and depot use fees (RMB985.29 and RMB121.63 respectively), and one against Chemspirit Petroleum Co., Ltd. regarding land occupation fees (RMB774.31)—have seen execution terminated or liens achieved.

Four other disputes, totaling over RMB450 million (RMB46,881.01, RMB6,171.40, RMB21,453.59, and RMB17,836.33), mostly involving Qinhuangdao Waidai Logistics Co., Ltd., have either been ruled to be dismissed with the cases concluded, or a hearing is to be resumed by the Tianjin Maritime Court.
