Sunny Optical sees strong growth in vehicle lens sets and camera modules

Sunny Optical Technology (Group) Company Limited announced its October 2025 shipment volumes, with notable year-on-year growth in several product lines. Vehicle lens sets experienced a substantial 40.3% increase compared to the previous year, reaching 12,217,000 units. Handset camera modules also saw a significant rise of 33.2% year-on-year, with 44,997,000 units shipped in October 2025. This growth was primarily attributed to increased customer demand for these products.

Month-on-month figures for October 2025 showed mixed results. Handset lens sets grew by 4.0% to 122,234,000 units, and vehicle lens sets increased by 4.8%. Other lens sets posted a 13.6% month-on-month increase to 13,135,000 units. However, spherical glass lenses saw a 17.4% decrease month-on-month, with shipments totaling 2,344,000 units, and handset camera modules declined by 7.3% compared to September 2025.

In optical instruments, microscopic instruments recorded a 23.5% month-on-month increase to 19,752 units, though this was an 8.8% decrease year-on-year. Other optoelectronic products experienced a 7.1% month-on-month rise to 6,878,000 units, but a 5.4% year-on-year decline. The board of directors individually and jointly accepts responsibility for the accuracy of this announcement.
