Budweiser APAC announces non-executive director to retire in 2026

Budweiser Brewing Company APAC Limited announced that Nelson Jamel will retire from his positions as a non-executive director and a member of the audit and risk committee, effective January 1, 2026. Jamel, who also serves as chief people officer of parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV, will depart the group after a 30-year career.

A formal announcement regarding these changes will be made under Rule 13.51(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited when they take effect.

As of November 4, 2025, the board comprises Yanjun Cheng and Michel Doukeris as co-chairs, Nelson Jamel and Ricardo Tadeu as non-executive directors, and Martin Cubbon, Marjorie Mun Tak Yang, and Katherine King-suen Tsang as independent non-executive directors. Alternate directors include John Blood, David Almeida, and Katherine Barrett.
