Prudential repurchases shares for cancellation

Prudential plc, under its "Transaction in own shares" programme, repurchased 301,668 of its ordinary shares on October 31, 2025. The shares were bought from Merrill Lynch International at an average price of £10.5016 per share, with prices ranging from £10.3950 to £10.7250.

The company intends to cancel these repurchased shares. Following this transaction and cancellation, the total number of ordinary shares in issue and voting rights will be 2,560,884,807. The repurchase was executed as an on-exchange transaction on the London Stock Exchange and as an on-market purchase according to the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-Backs. This action is in line with the authority granted by shareholders at the company's 2025 Annual General Meeting.
