Liaoning Port elects Zhang Hong as employee representative director

Liaoning Port Co., Ltd. announced the election of Ms. Zhang Hong as the employee representative director for the seventh session of its board. The election, held on October 31, 2025, by employee representatives from various company units, aligns with the Company Law of the People's Republic of China and its articles of association. Ms. Zhang's term will commence upon approval of her election and will conclude with the expiration of the seventh session of the board's term of office. The company clarified that no emoluments or other benefits will be paid to Ms. Zhang for this role.

Ms. Zhang, born in 1981, is a Chinese national with an extensive background in legal and risk management within the port sector. Her previous roles include legal director positions at Dalian Port Corporation Limited and Dalian Port (PDA) Company Limited, as well as deputy head of the legal department for Liaoning Port Group Limited. Currently, she leads the risk management and legal compliance department of Liaoning Port Co., Ltd.

Academically, Ms. Zhang holds a bachelor's degree in law from Beijing Technology and Business University and a master's degree in transportation planning and management from Dalian Maritime University. She is also recognized as a corporate lawyer, corporate legal consultant, senior enterprise compliance officer, and senior economist, bringing a wealth of expertise to her new directorial position. The board confirmed that Ms. Zhang holds no other positions or directorships in other public companies and has no relationships with other directors or significant shareholders.
