Hua Hong Semiconductor announces executive reshuffle, new chairman appointed

Effective October 31, 2025, Hua Hong Semiconductor Limited announced significant changes to its executive leadership and board committee structure. Peng Bai, previously an executive director and president, has been appointed chairman of the board, chairman of the nomination committee, and the company’s authorised representative. He will also retain his role as president, a combination the board believes will enhance strategic execution and information flow due to his deep semiconductor industry expertise.

These appointments follow the resignation of Junjun Tang, who stepped down as executive director, chairman, chairman of the nomination committee, and authorised representative, effective the same date. The board expressed gratitude to Tang for his contributions. The company's directors as of October 31, 2025, now include Peng Bai as executive director (chairman and president), non-executive directors Jun Ye, Guodong Sun, Bo Chen, and Chengyan Xiong, and independent non-executive directors Stephen Tso Tung Chang, Kwai Huen Wong, JP, and Songlin Feng.

The updated committee memberships reflect these changes. Peng Bai will now serve as chairman of the nomination committee and a member of the remuneration committee. Stephen Tso Tung Chang remains chairman of the audit committee. Kwai Huen Wong, JP, is now chairman of the remuneration committee and a member of the nomination committee. Songlin Feng holds membership in the nomination, remuneration, and audit committees.
