CGN Power completes acquisition of four nuclear power companies

CGN Power Co., Ltd. has completed its previously announced acquisition of equity interests in four nuclear power companies. The transaction involved the acquisition of 82% equity interests in CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., and 100% equity interests in CGN Huizhou No. 2 Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., CGN Huizhou No. 3 Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., and CGN Zhanjiang Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.

The payment for the consideration of this transaction was recently completed. Consequently, as of October 31, 2025, all four acquired entities have become subsidiaries of CGN Power.

The acquisition was approved at the 2025 first extraordinary general meeting, the 2025 second H shareholders' class meeting, and the 2025 second A shareholders' class meeting of the company. This strategic move strengthens CGN Power's presence in the nuclear energy sector.
