China Datang Renewable Power announces new board directors

China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co. has announced the proposed election of its fifth session of the board of directors, as the term of the fourth session has expired. Mr. Wang Shaoping, Mr. Lo Mun Lam, Raymond, and Mr. Yu Shunkun will retire from the board, with their departures effective upon the appointment of the new session at the third extraordinary general meeting in 2025.

The nomination committee has approved nominations for the new board. Executive director candidates include Mr. Ying Xuejun and Mr. Wang Fanghong. Non-executive director candidates are Mr. Chen Zhijie, Ms. Rong Xiaojie, Mr. Shi Feng, and Mr. Bai Li. Independent non-executive director candidates are Mr. Qin Haiyan, Mr. Chow Hiu Tung, and Mr. Lu Hao. The new directors, once approved by shareholders, will serve a three-year term.

Executive directors will receive remuneration based on their positions, while non-executive directors will not receive company remuneration. Independent non-executive directors will receive an allowance of 130,000 yuan per annum.
