BOC Hong Kong declares dividend, reports Q3 performance with varied results

BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited has declared a third interim dividend of HK$0.29 per share for 2025, payable on November 26, 2025, to shareholders on record as of November 20, 2025. Shares will trade ex-dividend from November 12, 2025.

For the first nine months ended September 30, 2025, the group's net operating income before impairment allowances increased by 6.3% year-on-year to HK$57,179 million. However, the third quarter of 2025 saw a 13.9% quarter-on-quarter decrease in this metric, reaching HK$17,157 million. Operating profit before impairment allowances for the quarter was HK$12,858 million, an 18.3% decrease from the previous quarter.

Total assets grew by 6.5% from the end of 2024 to HK$4,465,713 million as of September 30, 2025, with customer deposits increasing by 10.2% to HK$3,001,306 million. Advances to customers rose by 3.1% to HK$1,729,039 million, and the impaired loan ratio remained stable at 0.96%.
