BOC Aviation names Zhuo Chengwen chairman, effective October 2025

BOC Aviation Limited announced Zhuo Chengwen has been appointed as an executive director, chairman of the board, chairman of the nomination committee, and chairman of the strategy and budget committee, effective October 30, 2025. This appointment follows the resignation of Zhang Xiaolu from the same roles, also effective October 30, 2025, due to a change in work arrangements.

Zhuo, 55, brings extensive experience from Bank of China Limited ("BOC"), which he joined in 1995. His previous roles include secretary to the board of directors and company secretary of BOC, chief audit officer of BOC, and chief risk officer of BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited. He holds a master's degree in economics from Peking University and a master's degree in business administration from City University of New York, along with several public accountant certifications.

Zhuo will serve as a director until the annual general meeting in 2026 and will be subject to retirement by rotation. He will not receive director's or committee service fees under his appointment letter, with his remuneration determined by the remuneration committee based on his duties and market conditions. The board extended its gratitude to Zhang Xiaolu for her contributions.
