China Energy Engineering reports modest Q3 2025 contract growth

China Energy Engineering Corporation reported newly-signed contracts valued at 217.418 bn yuan for the third quarter of 2025, contributing to an aggregate of 992.775 bn yuan for the year. This represents a modest 0.40% increase in the aggregate value of newly-signed contracts compared to the same period last year. Construction and contracting remained a significant segment, with 199.435 bn yuan in new contracts for the quarter.

Notably, traditional energy contracts for the year saw a slight decrease of 3.40% to 240.209 bn yuan, while new energy and comprehensive intelligence energy contracts grew by 5.15% to 412.115 bn yuan. Comprehensive transportation experienced significant growth, with newly-signed contracts increasing by 75.39% year-over-year to 35.061 bn yuan.

Geographically, domestic contracts for the year totaled 728.098 bn yuan, a 3.43% decrease. In contrast, overseas newly-signed contracts demonstrated strong growth, increasing by 12.67% to 264.678 bn yuan for the year.
