Yuexiu Transport: Mixed August traffic amidst network changes

Yuexiu Transport Infrastructure Limited experienced mixed operating results in August 2025. Many projects saw month-on-month increases in average daily traffic volume and toll revenue due to higher summer traffic. However, typhoon conditions in Guangdong and Guangxi led to year-on-year declines for several projects, including GNSR Expressway, GWSR Expressway, Shantou Bay Bridge, Humen Bridge, and Cangyu Expressway.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link continued to divert traffic from Humen Bridge, though this impact has gradually narrowed since July. Similarly, reconstruction on the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway in Hubei impacted Han-Xiao Expressway, an effect that is also diminishing. Daguangnan Expressway saw substantial year-on-year and month-on-month increases in traffic volume and revenue, partly due to point-to-point toll exemptions for certain sections and the closure of competing on-ramps. Qinglian Expressway's year-on-year growth in traffic and revenue was attributed to a lower diversion baseline in the prior year.

Key figures include GNSR Expressway reporting RMB96,280 in August toll revenue, a -2.5% year-on-year change. Humen Bridge recorded RMB86,876, reflecting a -5.4% year-on-year change. Daguangnan Expressway showed a 12.5% year-on-year increase in August toll revenue, reaching RMB35,231. These statistics are unaudited and for reference only.
