Li Guangming resigns as CGN New Energy president; chairman Zhang Zhiwu to assume role

Li Guangming, president and executive director of CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., has resigned from his positions effective October 21, 2025, due to other personal commitments. The company's board expressed sincere appreciation for Li’s valuable contributions during his tenure.

Following Li's departure, Zhang Zhiwu, who currently serves as the chairman of the board and an executive director, will assume the function of president. This interim arrangement will commence on October 21, 2025, and will remain in effect until a new president is appointed. Li confirmed that there are no disagreements with the board regarding his resignation.

As of the announcement date, the board comprises six directors. Alongside Zhang Zhiwu (chairman), the executive director team includes Zhao Xianwen and Mu Wenjun as non-executive directors, and Wang Minhao, Yang Xiaosheng, and Leung Chi Ching Frederick as independent non-executive directors.
