Ping An amends articles, details share structure and capital history

Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. has amended its Articles of Association, with the latest update being the 29th amendment on May 13, 2025. The company’s current share capital stands at 18,107,641,995 ordinary shares. This comprises 10,660,065,083 domestic A shares, representing 58.87% of the total, and 7,447,576,912 overseas listed H shares, accounting for 41.13%. The registered and paid-up capital is 18,107,641,995 yuan.

The company was initially established in 1988 with a registered capital of 42 million yuan. Its original promoters included Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Co., Ltd., The China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company, The Bureau of Finance of Shenzhen, and Shenzhen New Horse Investment Development Company Limited. By January 16, 1997, its registered capital increased to 1.5 billion yuan.
