Lion Rock Group appoints new independent director, updates board

Lion Rock Group Limited announced the appointment of Ms. Ng Cheuk Hei, Shirley, as an independent non-executive director, effective October 15, 2025. Ms. Ng will also join the Audit, Remuneration, and Nomination Committees. With over 25 years of experience in fintech, digital economy, and IT, Ms. Ng holds multiple advanced degrees and previously served as vice president at Global Payments Inc. and managing director at GeoSwift Payment Technology Limited. She also currently serves as an independent non-executive director for Build King Holdings Limited.

Ms. Ng's service contract runs from October 15, 2025, to December 31, 2026, with an annual director's fee of HK$240,000. Her appointment meets independence criteria under Listing Rule 3.13(1) to (8) and she has no financial or other interests with the Group or core connected persons. The board expressed its welcome to Ms. Ng.

Following this appointment, the board’s composition now includes two executive directors (Mr. Lau Chuk Kin, Ms. Lam Mei Lan), three non-executive directors (Mr. Chu Chun Wan, Mr. Li Hoi David, Mr. Guo Junsheng), and four independent non-executive directors (Prof. Lee Hau Leung, Mr. Ho Tai Wai David, Mr. Ng Siu On, Ms. Ng Cheuk Hei Shirley). The committee memberships have been updated to reflect Ms. Ng’s inclusion across all three key committees as a member.
