New China Life Insurance updates dividend, EGM details for 2025

New China Life Insurance Company Ltd. announced an updated interim dividend of RMB 0.67 per share for the six months ended June 30, 2025, payable on December 12, 2025. This dividend will be distributed to H Shares shareholders whose names appear on the register by November 20, 2025. The ex-dividend date is November 13, 2025, with the book close period running from November 17 to November 20, 2025. Shareholders must lodge transfer documents by 4:30 p.m. on November 14, 2025, to be eligible. The HKD equivalent amount is yet to be announced.

The company also issued a notice for its Third Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of 2025, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on October 31, 2025, in Beijing. Shareholders will vote on the interim profit distribution plan, along with proposed amendments to the Articles of Association, the abolishment of the Board of Supervisors, and changes to the Rules of Procedures for both the General Meeting and the Board of Directors.

To determine eligibility to attend and vote at the EGM, the H Share register of members will be closed from October 27 to October 31, 2025. The record date for EGM attendance and voting entitlement is October 27, 2025. Shareholders intending to attend by proxy must deposit forms by 2:30 p.m. on October 30, 2025.
