Tibet Water Resources proposes name change to 5100 Xizang Glacier

Tibet Water Resources Ltd. has proposed changing its English name to “5100 Xizang Glacier Company Limited” and its Chinese name to “5100藏冰川有限公司”. The board believes this rebranding will provide a stronger corporate image and identity, benefiting the group's branding and future business development.

The proposed name change is contingent upon two conditions: the passing of a special resolution by shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) and approval from the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands. If approved, the change will take effect upon the issuance of a new certificate of incorporation.

Existing share certificates will remain valid, and there will be no free exchange for new certificates. However, new share certificates will be issued under the new name, and the stock short names on the Stock Exchange are expected to change. A circular with EGM details and proxy forms will be published on the HKEXnews website and the company's website.
