Prudential repurchases shares, grants employee and non-employee share options

Prudential Plc repurchased 289,378 ordinary shares on October 2, 2025, through Merrill Lynch International on the London Stock Exchange. The shares were acquired at an average price of £10.2542, with the lowest price paid per share being £10.1250 and the highest £10.4850. These repurchased shares will be cancelled, reducing the total number of shares in issue to 2,564,779,810.

In separate announcements on the same date, Prudential Plc granted a total of 14,412 new ordinary share options to eligible employees under the Prudential Sharesave Plan 2023. These options have an exercise price of £7.89 per share, representing not less than 80% of the closing market value of £10.20 on the grant date. The vesting period for these options is 3 or 5 years, with exercisable periods from December 2028 to May 2029 or December 2030 to May 2031.

Additionally, 298,306 new ordinary share options were granted to non-employees under the Prudential International Savings-Related Share Option Scheme for Non-Employees (ISSOSNE). These options carry an exercise price of HK$82.08 per share, also not less than 80% of the closing market value of HK$108.60 on the grant date, and follow the same 3 or 5-year vesting and exercisable periods as the employee options.
