Prudential Plc grants share options to employees and non-employees

Prudential Plc granted a total of 14,412 new ordinary shares as options to eligible employees under the Prudential Sharesave Plan 2023 on October 2, 2025. These options have an exercise price of £7.89 per share, representing at least 80% of the market value. They are exercisable during maturity periods from December 2028 to May 2029 or December 2030 to May 2031, with a vesting period of 3 or 5 years. The closing price of shares on the grant date was £10.20 per share.

Concurrently, Prudential Plc also granted 298,306 new ordinary shares as options to certain non-employees under the Prudential International Savings-Related Share Option Scheme for Non-Employees (ISSOSNE) on the same date. These options have an exercise price of HK$82.08 per share, also representing at least 80% of the market value, and a closing share price of HK$108.60 on the grant date. The maximum number of shares available for future grant under existing schemes is 200,577,148, with a service provider sublimit of 37,262,562.

The ISSOSNE aims to incentivise and retain individuals, such as insurance agents, who are not employees but are closely connected with Prudential, aligning their contributions with the Group's long-term development. Both plans were approved at the annual general meeting on May 25, 2023.
