Weichai Power delays circular for connected transactions

Weichai Power Co., Ltd. announced a delay in the despatch of a circular pertaining to its non-exempt continuing connected transactions, previously detailed in an announcement on August 29, 2025. The original deadline for sending this circular to shareholders was September 30, 2025.

The circular is expected to contain further details of the non-exempt continuing connected transactions, a letter from the independent board committee to independent shareholders, and advice from the independent financial adviser. The postponement is attributed to the company requiring additional time to finalize certain information for inclusion in the document.

Consequently, the despatch of the circular will now occur on or before October 31, 2025. This decision was made by order of the board of directors, with Ma Changhai serving as chairman. The announcement was made from the PRC on September 30, 2025.
