China Modern Dairy announces director appointments, committee changes

China Modern Dairy Holdings Ltd. announced the appointment of Wen Yongping as a non-executive director and chairman of the sustainability committee, effective October 1, 2025. Wen, 51, currently serves as a vice president at China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited, bringing extensive experience in production, operations, and milk sources management. His appointment is for a three-year term, with no remuneration from China Modern Dairy for this role.

In addition to Wen's appointment, the company is updating the composition of its board committees. Li Shengli and Lee Kong Wai, Conway, both independent non-executive directors, will join the nomination committee. Furthermore, Zhang Ping will step down as both chairman and member of the sustainability committee, with Wen assuming the chairmanship.

As of the announcement date, Wen holds beneficial interests in 10,000 shares and 657,915 underlying shares of Mengniu, representing approximately 0.017% of Mengniu's issued share capital. He has no other directorships in listed public companies or other significant appointments, nor does he have any relationships with other directors or major shareholders of China Modern Dairy.
