Shunfeng International announces new chairman and CEO appointments

Mr. Wang Yu has resigned as executive director, chairman of the board, chief executive officer, chairman of the nomination committee, and authorised representative of Shunfeng International Clean Energy Limited, effective September 26, 2025, to pursue other business commitments. The board expressed gratitude for his contributions.

Concurrently, Mr. Han Jibiao, 42, has been appointed to all these roles, effective September 26, 2025. He will enter a three-year service contract with an annual remuneration of HK$600,000. Mr. Han brings over 16 years of administrative and management experience, including roles at Shanghai Fortune Tiandi Economic Development Co., Ltd. and Hainan Xinjia Tourism Development Co., Ltd.

The company acknowledges a deviation from CG Code provision C.2.1 as Mr. Han will hold both chairman and chief executive roles, believing it streamlines strategy execution. The board's composition now includes Mr. Han Jibiao and Mr. Qiu Bo as executive directors, and Mr. Zhao Yuwen, Mr. Kwong Wai Sun Wilson, and Ms. Tse Wan Joyce as independent non-executive directors, ensuring a balance of power.
