China Everbright Bank proposes new directors for tenth board session

China Everbright Bank Company Limited (HKEX:6818) has proposed a new slate of directors for its tenth board of directors session, following the expiration of the ninth session's term. Five current directors will retire and will not seek re-election.

The proposed tenth session board will include Mr. Wu Lijun, Mr. Cui Yong, Ms. Zhao Jingjing, Mr. Yao Wei, Mr. Zhang Mingwen, and Mr. Li Wei as non-executive directors. Mr. Hao Cheng, Ms. Qi Ye, and Mr. Yang Bingbing are nominated as executive directors. Additionally, Mr. Li Yinquan, Mr. Liu Shiping, Mr. Huang Zhenzhong, Ms. Li Yingqi, Mr. Hu Xiang, and Mr. Liu Qiao have been proposed as independent non-executive directors.

The appointments of Mr. Li Yinquan, Mr. Liu Shiping, and Mr. Huang Zhenzhong will take effect upon shareholder approval, while Ms. Li Yingqi, Mr. Hu Xiang, and Mr. Liu Qiao's appointments also require NFRA approval. Independent non-executive directors will receive a basic remuneration of RMB300,000 per person annually before tax, with additional allowances for serving on or chairing special committees.
