Yuexiu Transport appoints Yao Xiaosheng as executive director, deputy chairman

Yuexiu Transport Infrastructure Limited has appointed Yao Xiaosheng as an executive director, deputy chairman of the board, and general manager, effective September 25, 2025. Yao, 46, brings over 19 years of experience in corporate management, including expertise in capital raising, corporate investment decision-making, and asset management. He currently serves as a director of Yue Xiu Securities Holdings Limited and Guangzhou Yuexiu Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., and director and general manager of Yuexiu Capital (Guangzhou) Management Co., Ltd.

Yao joined Guangzhou Yue Xiu Holdings Limited (GZYX) in July 2005 and has held various leadership roles within operations analysis, administration, and financial capital management. His career includes serving as deputy general manager of the general office of GZYX and Yue Xiu Enterprises (Holdings) Limited (YXE). Most recently, from February 2021 to September 2025, he was general manager of the capital operations department of GZYX and YXE.

Yao has entered into a three-year appointment with the company, renewable subject to re-election. He will receive an annual salary of RMB700,000, with potential discretionary bonuses and share options. He holds a bachelor's degree in post communications management and a master's degree in industrial economics, along with a completion certificate from the "global asset management advanced studying programme" of Tsinghua University.
