AviChina reports modest revenue growth, profit decline in H1 2025

AviChina Industry & Technology Company Limited reported revenue of 37,465 million yuan for the six months ended June 30, 2025, an increase of 11.43% from 33,621 million yuan in the prior year. This was primarily driven by higher sales of helicopter and aviation ancillary system products.

However, net profit attributable to the owners of the parent company decreased by 17.67% to 1,030 million yuan, down from 1,251 million yuan in the corresponding period last year. This decline was mainly attributed to a change in revenue structure, leading to a year-on-year decrease in gross profit margin and overall gross profit.

The company's comprehensive gross profit margin stood at 20.22% for the reporting period, a decrease of 3.71 percentage points. Selling expenses rose slightly by 3.04% to 339 million yuan, while administrative expenses decreased by 4.40% to 2,064 million yuan. Research and development expenses increased by 6.84% to 2,170 million yuan. The board proposed no interim dividend for the six months ended June 30, 2025.
