Postal Savings Bank of China nominates Song Xiaodong as new non-executive director

On September 23, 2025, the board of directors of Postal Savings Bank of China Co., Ltd. approved the nomination of Song Xiaodong as a candidate for non-executive director. This proposal will be presented to the shareholders' general meeting for consideration. Song Xiaodong's directorship is contingent on approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration, with his term set for three years from the date of qualification approval. Following Song Xiaodong's appointment, Ding Xiangming will step down as non-executive director and from relevant board committees due to a job change. Song Xiaodong will not receive remuneration from the bank.

Song Xiaodong, born in 1972, holds a bachelor's degree in economics and is a senior economist. His career includes roles as chief economist, deputy general manager, and director at Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd., chairman of Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Limited, and vice president and secretary to the board of Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd. He currently serves as president and director of Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd.

As of the announcement date, Song Xiaodong has confirmed no other directorships in publicly listed companies within the last three years. He has no relationships with bank directors, supervisors, senior management, or substantial or controlling shareholders, and no other positions within the bank or its subsidiaries. He also holds no interest in the bank's shares or associated corporations as defined by Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Ordinance.
