CStone Pharmaceuticals appoints Kenneth Jarrett as independent director

CStone Pharmaceuticals announced the appointment of Kenneth Howard Jarrett as an independent non-executive director, effective September 23, 2025. Mr. Jarrett will also serve on the company's audit and strategy committees. He brings over 40 years of experience in government, business relations, strategic planning, and key relationship building, including roles as senior advisor at Albright Stonebridge Group and president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

Mr. Jarrett's diplomatic career includes serving as consul general of the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai and deputy consul general of the U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Cornell University, a master's in East Asian studies and Chinese history from Yale University, and a master's in national security studies from the National War College. His director's remuneration will be $40,000 per annum.

The appointment ensures CStone Pharmaceuticals' compliance with Rules 3.10(1) and 3.21 of the Listing Rules, enhancing the board's independent oversight. The company's board now includes Dr. Wei Li (chairman), Dr. Jianxin Yang (ceo), Mr. Kenneth Walton Hitchner III, Mr. Edward Hu, Mr. Ting Yuk Anthony Wu, Ms. Yip Betty Ho, and Mr. Kenneth Howard Jarrett as independent non-executive directors.
