Agricultural Bank of China nominates Liu Hong as executive director

Agricultural Bank of China Limited announced that its board of directors met on September 22, 2025, resolving to nominate Liu Hong as an executive director candidate. The nomination received unanimous approval from the 13 directors entitled to vote. The bank's nomination and remuneration committee also approved the proposal, and independent non-executive directors confirmed that the nomination complies with relevant laws and regulations.

Liu Hong, born in August 1968, holds a master's degree in public administration and is a senior economist. He was appointed executive vice president in August 2023 and has served as deputy secretary of the Party Committee since August 2025. His appointment as a director is subject to shareholder approval and ratification by the National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) for a three-year term, and he will not receive a director's fee.

Concurrently, Liu Hong resigned from his position as an executive vice president of the bank on September 22, 2025, due to a position change. The board expressed its gratitude for his contributions as a senior management member.
