Standard Chartered announces interim dividend, offers currency options

Standard Chartered PLC has declared an interim dividend of $0.123 per share for the 2025 half year, payable on 30 September 2025. Shareholders will have the option to receive their dividend in Hong Kong dollars (HKD), pounds sterling (GBP), or US dollars (USD). The dividend is for the financial year ending 31 December 2025, with the reporting period ending 30 June 2025.

For shareholders on the Hong Kong branch register, the default dividend payment will be HKD 0.957698 per share. UK-registered shareholders will receive GBP 0.09079614 per share by default, unless they elect to receive USD or HKD.

The closing date for option election is 05 September 2025 at 16:30. The ex-dividend date is 06 August 2025, and transfer documents must be lodged by 07 August 2025 at 16:30 to determine dividend entitlement. The record date is yet to be announced.
