Bank of Gansu president and executive director resigns

Bank of Gansu Co., Ltd. announced that its president and executive director, Wang Xizhen, has resigned from his positions, effective September 12, 2025. Wang also stepped down from the strategy and development committee, the related party transaction and risk management committee, and the consumer rights protection committee under the board. The resignation is due to a change in work arrangement. Wang confirmed there are no disagreements with the board and no other matters related to his resignation that require the attention of shareholders or creditors.

The board expressed its full recognition, high appreciation, and sincere gratitude to Wang for his significant contribution during his tenure. He was acknowledged for diligently performing his duties, playing an important role in strengthening risk compliance, and promoting high-quality development for the bank.

As of the announcement date, the board comprises Liu Qing as an executive director; Zhang Bin, Zhang Junping, Ye Rong, and Yang Chunmei as non-executive directors; and Liu Guanghua, Wang Lei, and Hau Pak Sun as independent non-executive directors. Bank of Gansu Co., Ltd. is not an authorized institution under the Banking Ordinance and is not subject to the supervision of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, nor authorized to carry on banking/deposit-taking business in Hong Kong.
