Everbright Greentech recovers 2.064 bn yuan in renewable energy subsidies

China Everbright Greentech Limited, along with its subsidiaries, has received 2.064 billion yuan in additional subsidies for renewable energy tariffs. This settlement was confirmed via notices from the State Grid Corporation of China, with the full amount having been received by the group as of September 5, 2025.

The subsidies relate to 33 companies within the group involved in integrated biomass utilisation, solar energy, and wind power projects. These funds cover the period from July 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025.

The recovery of these subsidies is expected to significantly improve the cash flow and reduce the liabilities of the group's integrated biomass utilisation, solar energy, and wind power projects, positively impacting future operations. These settled subsidies were previously recognised as tariff income in the corresponding years when electricity was sold.
