Hua Hong Semiconductor’s HKEX shares increase due to option exercises

Hua Hong Semiconductor Limited announced a significant increase in its issued ordinary shares for the month ended August 31, 2025. The total number of issued ordinary shares listed on HKEX increased by 4,144,148, bringing the total to 1,325,869,670 shares. The company's Class A ordinary shares, listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, remained unchanged at 407,750,000 shares.

This increase primarily stems from the exercise of share options under the Share Option Scheme adopted on September 1, 2015. During August, 4,144,148 new shares were issued due to option exercises, reducing the outstanding share options from 8,326,345 to 4,182,197. The total funds raised from these option exercises during the month amounted to HK$62,691,135.18.

The total number of shares that may still be issued or transferred out of treasury upon the exercise of all outstanding share options under the scheme as of the close of the month stands at 93,944,356.
