Harbin Electric appoints Liu Qing-yong as executive director, president

Harbin Electric Company Limited's board of directors resolved to appoint Mr. Liu Qing-yong as an executive director and the chairman of the strategy development committee, effective from the announcement date until the next annual general meeting. Mr. Liu will not receive director remuneration.

Concurrently, Mr. Liu was appointed president of the company, ceasing his role as senior vice president, also effective September 4, 2025. He will not receive compensation for his service as president. The board welcomed Mr. Liu's appointment, noting it meets the director requirements of the company's Articles of Association.

Following these changes, the executive directors include Mr. Huang Wei (chairman), Mr. Liu Qing-yong, and Mr. Du Xing-kai. Independent non-executive directors are Mr. He Yu, Mr. Pan Qi-long, Ms. Niu Xiang-chun, and Mr. Gao Yi-bin. Mr. Liu will also chair the Strategy Development Committee, with Mr. Huang Wei stepping down from that role.
