Towngas Smart Energy sees shares rise from options exercise

Towngas Smart Energy Company Limited announced an increase of 1,728,000 in its issued shares for the month ended August 31, 2025, bringing the total number of issued shares to 3,634,324,007. This movement was entirely attributed to the exercise of share options under its Share Option Scheme, which generated total funds of HK$5,875,200 for the company.

As of the end of August 2025, the number of outstanding share options stood at 17,359,000. The company's authorized/registered share capital remained unchanged at 5,000,000,000 shares with a par value of HK$0.1 per share, resulting in a total authorized/registered share capital of HK$500,000,000.

The report also noted the continued presence of convertible bonds in a principal amount of RMB 1,835,603,119.35, with a potential to issue up to 373,352,777 conversion shares at a conversion price of HK$5.94 per share. No new shares were issued from these convertible bonds during the reporting period.
