XD Inc. reports over 200% profit surge in first half 2025

XD Inc. reported a substantial increase in profit for the six months ended June 30, 2025, with profit rising to 810,596 thousand yuan, a 223.5% increase from 250,579 thousand yuan in the same period of 2024. Revenue grew by 38.8% to 3,081,986 thousand yuan, up from 2,220,567 thousand yuan. Gross profit also saw a robust increase of 50.5% to 2,252,758 thousand yuan.

The gaming segment's revenue increased by 39.4% to 2,071,260 thousand yuan, primarily due to the strong performance of titles like Ragnarok M: Classic, Heartopia, and Torchlight: Infinite. The TapTap platform also contributed significantly, with revenue increasing by 37.6% to 1,010,726 thousand yuan, attributed to improved advertising algorithms and enhanced user engagement.

Adjusted profit attributable to equity holders of the company increased by 235.3% to 795,650 thousand yuan. The company also maintained a healthy liquidity position with cash and cash equivalents of 2,971,628 thousand yuan as of June 30, 2025.
