LifeTech Scientific sees revenue growth, profit plunges in first half of 2025

LifeTech Scientific Corporation announced a 3.7% increase in turnover to RMB676.7 million for the six months ended 30 June 2025, up from RMB652.8 million in the corresponding period of 2024. However, gross profit decreased by 3.4% to RMB497.8 million. The company's net profit attributable to owners, excluding non-recurring items, rose by 2.1% to RMB238.5 million.

Despite the rise in adjusted profit, the reported net profit attributable to owners saw a significant 73.2% decrease, falling to RMB55.1 million from RMB205.6 million in the prior year. This decline was primarily attributed to changes in non-recurring items, including lower gains from financial assets at FVTPL (RMB9.9 million in 2025 vs. RMB32.9 million in 2024) and higher share-based payment expenses (RMB193.5 million in 2025 vs. RMB61.3 million in 2024).

The company did not recommend any interim dividends for the period. Domestic sales increased by 2.2%, while overseas sales grew by 8.0%, reflecting active international expansion.
