JS Global reports net loss despite revenue growth

JS Global Lifestyle Company Limited announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025, reporting total revenue of $774.1m, a 4.2% year-on-year increase. However, the company recorded a net loss of $53.7m, a substantial decrease of 281.4% compared to a net profit of $29.6m in the prior period. Adjusted net profit also declined by 26.6% to $13.5m.

The shift to a net loss was primarily driven by a 5.7% increase in cost of sales to $525.6m, and a 12.2% rise in selling and distribution expenses to $164.5m due to significant marketing investments by the SharkNinja APAC segment. Administrative expenses also increased by 14.3% to $133.4m, impacted by higher stock-based compensation and expansion costs.

Other expenses saw a dramatic increase of 644.4% to $20.1m, mainly attributed to a net loss on financial assets at fair value through profit or loss. EBITDA dropped by 207.0% to an EBITDA loss of $44.6m, while adjusted EBITDA decreased by 25.9% year-on-year to approximately $22.6m.
