Vobile Group's profit more than doubles amid revenue surge

For the six months ended June 30, 2025, Vobile Group reported total revenue of HK$1,456 million, a 23.4% year-on-year increase from HK$1,181 million in the same period of 2024. Profit for the period more than doubled, reaching HK$101 million, up 118.6% from HK$46 million in 1H 2024. Gross profit also saw a significant rise of 27.5% to HK$643 million, with the gross profit margin improving to 44.1% from 42.7%.

The growth was fueled by both subscription and value-added services. Subscription services revenue increased by 11.8% to HK$610 million, while value-added services revenue surged by 33.3% to HK$846 million, now accounting for 58.1% of total revenue. Geographically, revenue in the United States grew by approximately 26.8% to HK$725 million, and Mainland China saw a 20.1% increase to HK$727 million.

Vobile’s Non-IFRS adjusted net profit reached HK$121 million, an 88.1% increase, and Non-IFRS adjusted EBITDA grew by 39% to HK$272 million. As of June 30, 2025, total assets stood at HK$4,837 million, with net assets at HK$3,065 million. The company's gearing ratio improved to 15% from 27% at December 31, 2024.
