China Galaxy Securities reports strong interim results, increased profit

China Galaxy Securities Co. Ltd. reported an 18.92% year-on-year increase in total revenue, gains, and other income, reaching 18.79 bn yuan for the six months ended June 30, 2025. Profit attributable to owners of the Company surged by 47.86% to 6.48 bn yuan. The Board has proposed an interim cash dividend of 1.25 yuan per 10 shares for 2025, totaling 1.36 bn yuan.

The Company’s financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss saw a substantial increase, with current assets rising to 233.92 bn yuan from 163.92 bn yuan at the end of 2024. Total assets grew by 6.00% to 781.74 bn yuan. Operating activities resulted in a net cash outflow of 4.38 bn yuan, contrasting with an inflow in the prior period, mainly due to changes in payables and financial liabilities.

During the reporting period, the Company issued corporate and subordinated bonds aggregating 13.4 bn yuan, listed on the SSE, to replenish working capital and repay maturing bonds. The company also disclosed the relocation of three branch offices and 26 securities branches, as well as the closure of two securities branches, as part of its ongoing optimization efforts.
