SITC International sees strong profit growth in first half of 2025

SITC International Holdings Company Limited announced a robust performance for the six months ended June 30, 2025, with profit attributable to shareholders reaching $629,995,000, a substantial increase from $350,674,000 in the corresponding period of 2024. Total revenue surged by 28.0% to $1,664,500,000 from $1,300,500,000. This growth was primarily due to a 7.3% rise in container shipping volume to 1,829,665 TEUs and a 22.8% increase in average freight rate to $776.4/TEU.

The Group's gross profit for the period increased to $669,431,000 from $402,615,000 in 2024, with the gross profit margin expanding to 40.2%. Other income and gains, excluding bank interest and investment income, also saw a notable increase, mainly driven by gains on disposal of vessels.

The Board declared an interim dividend of HK$1.30 per share for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The Group's total assets grew by 4.4% to $3,339,900,000, and it maintained a healthy current ratio of approximately 2.3 as of June 30, 2025.
