Realord Group's revenue up 6.4% to HK$277.1m despite substantial net loss

Realord Group Holdings Limited announced total revenue of HK$277.1 million for the six months ended 30 June 2025, a 6.4% increase from HK$260.5 million in the prior period. Despite this revenue growth, the Group recorded a net loss from continuing operations of HK$496.2 million, a slight improvement from HK$551.0 million in the first half of 2024. The net loss for the period, including discontinued operations, amounted to HK$496.2 million, compared to HK$550.961 million in the previous year.

The increase in revenue was primarily driven by the Environmental Protection (EP) Segment, which saw revenue rise by HK$75.1 million to HK$211.8 million. However, this was partially offset by decreases in other segments, including Property, Financial Services, MVP, and LAC. Gross profit decreased by HK$18.2 million to HK$64.8 million.

The Group reported a net foreign exchange loss of HK$91.5 million and net impairment losses of HK$54.8 million. As of 30 June 2025, the Group had net current liabilities of HK$266.463 million and total interest-bearing borrowings of HK$12,741.4 million. The company is pursuing loan renewals and exploring financial arrangements to address liquidity.
