MOG Digitech sells 24 companies for RM22m

MOG Digitech Holdings Limited agreed to dispose of its equity interest in 24 target companies for RM22 million cash through subsidiary Metro Eyewear.

The disposal aims to shift toward an asset-light, service-oriented approach amid intense market competition, rising operational costs, and a shortage of certified optometrists.

MOG Digitech expects to record a gain of approximately RM5.9 million from the disposal. Proceeds will support optical business development and potential acquisitions.
