Sunny Optical subsidiary to acquire 33% stake in Goertek Optical

Sunny Optical Technology announced a memorandum of understanding where its subsidiary Ningbo OmniLight will contribute its entire equity interests in Shanghai OmniLight to subscribe for approximately 33.33% ownership in Goertek Optical.

The transaction aims to combine Shanghai OmniLight's strengths in wafer-level micro-nano optics with Goertek Optical's hi-precision optical components expertise, particularly targeting AI and AR products.

Completion remains subject to due diligence, regulatory approvals, and definitive agreements.
